SIGNIFICANCE, INC. AWARDED $2.5 MILLION CONTRACT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY

Significance, Inc. has been awarded a prime contract from the Department of the Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Command’s requirement for Financial Systems Transition Support for $2.5 million. NAVFAC is a worldwide organization providing facilities engineering, design, construction, consultation, test and evaluation, technology demonstration/implementation, public works, environmental, and acquisition for the Navy and Marine Corps, Department of Defense, and other federal agencies.

The team will directly support NAVFAC on IT systems-related issues and will focus on financial systems implementations. The team will also provide recommendations on courses of action and potential resolution. Mary Ahern-Snyder, the company president, noted “We are thrilled to support NAVFAC as they transition financial systems. We are aware that focusing on the mission is paramount, while still maintaining responsibility for the integrity of the financial data.”
