Melaine is 100% “by the books”–at Significance, this means she ensures the accuracy and adherence to the complex operational rules and financial ledgers of some of our largest government clients. Prior to joining Significance in 2017, Melaine served as a Director at PwC and MorganFranklin Consulting and a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. In each position, she was assigned to DoD clients, including the Department of Navy, USNA, and USCENTCOM. At Significance, Melaine works collaboratively with the Department of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (ASA) Financial Management & Comptroller (FM&C). She also serves as a senior advisor for technical guides, program and communication management, and audit response quality assurance to the agency’s Independent Public Accountant (IPA), DoD Inspector General, and Government Accountability Office. Clients value and trust Melaine’s unrivaled knowledge in federal contracting management.
Melaine is a graduate of Virginia Tech, with a degree in Finance and Financial Management Services and is a Certified Defense Financial Manager.
Melaine lives in Haymarket, Virginia with her husband and two young children.
