Lisa Snyder
Chief Financial Officer
Lisa Snyder is responsible for the company’s financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and treasury management. Her career spans more than 30 years in financial management and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) compliant government contracting accounting at both public and private companies. Lisa joined Significance in 2017, and her prior experience with small, fast-growth companies and financial system implementations and integrations have been instrumental in supporting our rapid expansion. Prior to joining Significance, Lisa was the Controller for Vantage Systems, Inc., an ISO 9001 NASA engineering services company. Her earlier work experience includes supporting the M&A activities at KEYW Corporation and The Boeing Company.
Lisa holds a of BS in Business Management/Accounting from the University of Maryland and completed additional post-graduate coursework in Finance and Entrepreneurship at The Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.
An “empty nester”, Lisa and her husband live between Edgewater, MD and Naples, Florida (depending on the weather!) and enjoy cycling, water activities and international travel. From wherever she’s working, she makes an impact on building culture with her hard work, positive attitude, and ever-present smile.
